November 14, 200916 yr UK doesn't know how it wants to play. I love this team and think they have a lot of talent, it's just getting them to use it. Play calling is questionable at times but players play and that is what UK needs to do against UGA, just play! Andre Woodson got Joker's his head coach in waiting title. I'm afraid that might have been a bad idea with some of the play calling Kentucky has shown this season.

I don't agree...I think that Joker is a major reason for the rise in Talent because he is a good closer (on recruits). It's amazing when a coach has talent, he is a genius...right now UK has two good skill players on O, along with a true freshman QB. I think they are doing exactly what they need to do. Do any of you all watch Alabama play? They are considered one of the top 3 teams and their O doesn't look much different...they just have a much better D.
November 15, 200916 yr If UK doesn't win again they won't be in Liberty, Liberty would rather have Ole Miss or Arkansas because of the proximity of the two schools to the city. This is not entirely true. Because of their proximity, many of the fans from both Arkansas and Ole Miss would travel to the game in Memphis the day of, and leave Memphis for home once the game is over. The revenue to the city of Memphis like hotel and dining would greatly suffer with one of those teams. This plays a big part, especially in this economy. It might work against one of these teams getting in invitation from the Liberty Bowl officials in Memphis for this very reason.

UK would have a pretty good season if only they could schedule about 6 or 7 games against Louisiana-Monroe this year. Boy, UK was fortunate to beat Auburn, or else this season would be a total joke.

November 16, 200916 yr With 10 bowl tie ins, which it will be because Bama and Florida are going to the BCS, and LSU deserves to go, too, we will get a Bowl. I think if we win the last 2, very possible, it will be the Chic-Fila Bowl in Atlanta. Win 1, Music City, win neither, and back to the same bowl as last year. I we win both and I'm in Atlanta for New Year's Eve. I don't think the Outback is in play because South Carolina beat us. Head to head doesn't matter. If the Cats win out they will finish 2nd in the East. It's doesn't assure them the Outback but it makes them the leading candidate, but I'd put put money on them getting there.
November 16, 200916 yr Preach on Bama!!! This was a must win for the Cats and they came thru. UK has a shot to run the table and end up 8-4. UGA on the road where they have won in the not too distant past and UT at home on Sr Night. I was impressed with the running game and hope they leave Newton at QB and stop the rotating QB nonsense. They quit rotating in the 2nd half and were much more effective. Newton is showing poise and made some key throws when they needed them. What about hurdling the VU defender. If we have a healthy Cobb and Locke, UK could end up 3rd in the East if the cards fall just right. On a side note, UK missed the boat on Cole. While UK shut him out in the first half, he had a very good game and his TD catch was sweet! They did indeed miss the boat on Cole. Especially with their troubles at the receiver position. His catch made sportscenter's top plays that night.:thumb:
