Does anyone like both Kobe and LeBron?

Featured Replies

I like Lebron and I despise Kobe. My dislike for Kobe however, does not alter my opinion that he is an outstanding player, quite possibly a top 10 all-time talent.

I like watching both play occassionally...

But I'm in the Michael Jordan camp!

It seems like when a debate between the 2 gets started, there are clearly two different camps: The Kobe camp, and The LeBron camp. Does anybody like both?

I don't really know them..

I have been in the Kobe camp forever, but have always appreciated what LeBron does. I honestly used to like him, but not really anymore.

Why is it that a lot of people who used to hate Kobe are starting to like him now? Time cures everything?

For me it's Lebron James. If not for him, I'd probably still hate Kobe. I don't have a love affair with Kobe now, but I don't mind him that much since he's become less significant.

Now that's a hilarious statement about a reigning NBA Champion and reigning Finals MVP.

Absolutely.

I dont like either of them, the only one I like out of the three best players in the NBA is Wade. :D

I think DWade is a little underrated if that's possible. I think in terms of talent and ability he is closer to LeBron and Kobe than most believe. If someone wanted to say that he was the best of the bunch, I wouldn't be too mad about that either.

Geez bro, calm down. I didn't mean he was washed up. I meant he now had some competition in Lebron James and D-Wade as to who is the best. I'm assuming you don't agree with that.

I am a fan of good all around basketball players. Kobe has always played his butt off on both ends and thats why I am a big Kobe fan. I am starting to enjoy Lebron more after the Olympics because he has picked up some of defense from Kobe. Thats why I am also a Spurs fan, Duncan plays on both ends and isn't fancy but he always gets the job done by doing whatever it takes, pretty or not. Just for some reason though I can't like Dwade, plays defense in spurts or just his style.

I am calm, and yes, in many ways LeBron and Dwade are better and do better than things than Kobe. I just disagree with whole less significant because he is obviously still performing at the same level as DWade and LeBron and he's leading his teams to championships. I am very calm, I just think you might want to use other words besides less significant when talking about Kobe.

That's all I am saying. You made me laugh which makes me calm......you might want to clarify what you meant.

There should be a Wade camp too. He is equal to these two.

Being a Celtics fan, can't stand Kobe. Has something to do with the colors urine yellow and purple that he wears.

I'm not saying he's not significant, but you don't think he's less significant to the league now than what he was before Lebron and Dwade showed up, then you are sadly mistaken. Kobe was the whole show until those guys arrived. I think Kobe is the best in the league, but he's not hands down the only guy in the league anymore. I can't believe that made you laugh.

I'm a Celtics fan as well, but I don't let dislike stand in the way of recognizing the best player in the NBA.

 He's not even the best player in the NBA. See: Kobe Bryant.

Okay....I am confused.

Which is it?

In one thread you say Kobe is the best player in the NBA.

In the next you say Kobe is less significant.

Is one of these a sarcastic post I am taking out of context? I am lost.
