November 10, 200916 yr Two words: SIXTH MAN. That means there are 5 better on his own team. To put it simply, no it doesn't.
November 10, 200916 yr Two words: SIXTH MAN. That means there are 5 better on his own team. A team that, according to ESPN the Magazine, isn't in the nation's top 64 (saw this in another thread).
November 10, 200916 yr So the credit is now to UK?     Thanks. I needed a good laugh.   Go back and look at what happened to the BCS contender after that loss. The air was out of the balloon. Now if you want to say the Cards were a fraud I can go with that.

November 10, 200916 yr Two words: SIXTH MAN. That means there are 5 better on his own team. Do you remember James Lee? One of the best SIXTH MAN UK had. Many thought he should start, but Joe B liked the way he came off the bench and sparked the team. Just because you don't start means that the 5 that do are better than you. Each player has thier role. It is a TEAM sport. Why can't you be supportive of this young man? I would really like to know.

Heshimu Evans was another one that comes to mind.

What do you want me to say. He is an average division 1 basketball player why are you considering that an insult. He would dominate at the Y or a church league. He was a great high school player. Funny you mention James Lee. He was the sixth man on a team that lost 2 games and won the National Championship. He played behind two All Americans in Robey and Givens and a 6'11" Mike Phillips.

November 10, 200916 yr Heshimu Evans was another one that comes to mind. Another guy who played on a National Champion. Evans also was average.

November 10, 200916 yr I'm betting if Preston wore blue and white you'd be touting him as the greatest 6th man in history. And I bet Pitino wouldn't. If he wore blue and white he could only dream of being the 6th man this year.
November 10, 200916 yr And I bet Pitino wouldn't. If he wore blue and white he could only dream of being the 6th man this year. I have a friend who used to be the biggest Rick Pitino fan in the world. I would love to see you two guys go at it on here.
November 10, 200916 yr If you say so. For someone who thinks UK fans are sensitive you are sure showing your sensitive side.
