Here's about how I see it. Ben has the most rings, Eli has the most brains and Rivers.... uh.... He's got the biggest mouth!

HB20 is boycotting the Giants? What kind of fan does that?

I think there's no doubt it's Ben. Until this year, his critics could point out that Pittsburgh was a run first team, but this year he has largely strapped the team on his back, or perhaps more accurately, his arm. Ben has two rings, Eli one, and Rivers will never have one IMO. If Eli doesn't get a freak catch from David Tyree, he has none.

On a side note, I liked Rivers in college, but he has turned into a real punk in the NFL. I hate seeing any game that involves him.

That isn't fair to Eli at all- by that logic I could say that without a freak catch by Santonio Holmes and a lucky tackle then Ben wouldn't have any. That's just plain unfair, IMO.

We can't take away any of the wins. I will say this; ask yourself who has had the most talent around them of the three QB's over their time in the league? I would argue that Eli has had the least amount surrounding him- yet he has led his team to a win in the big game.

All this being said, I rank Ben number 1.

That catch was amazing, but it was lucky.

I'd argue that Eli has had the most talent around him.

Plaxico Burress, Amani Toomer, Brandon Jacobs & Derrick Ward, David Diehl, Tiki Barber, (Jared Lorenzen, Andre Woodson ), et al.

As far as who was better overall, Pittsburgh's defense was probably better, but the Giants' D line with Strahan leading the way was tough. Big Ben relied on running the ball & his defense to win games early on. He's now doing much, much more. He's the best QB thus far out of the group.

No one is trying to argue that the catch by Tyree wasn't incredibly timely and lucky; let's not pretend that Ben hasn't seen his share though, or try to diminish Eli's ring while forgeting that all champions get a break somewhere along the road.

You can try to argue that Eli had more talent, but I bet if you go back and count the pro-bowlers that Eli has had fewer teammates make it than Ben and Rivers.

You realize the difference between a great catch (Holmes catching a perfect ball in the end zone with his hands) and a fluke (Tyree pinning the ball against his helmet), right?

Talent-wise I'll take Eli. But as for who the best QB is, I don't see how it wouldn't be Big Ben.

Big Ben.

If it was pure talent I like Eli in 3rd, IMO. Rivers is a better passer and Ben's size and mobility along with his arm put them both ahead of Eli. Eli is a much better game manager and winner than Rivers. Ben just has it all.

I don't think you can argue about the surrounding talent. All three of these guys have played for loaded teams. You can't support an argument that Eli had less talent.

The Giants had arguably the best offensive line in the NFL. There's absolutely no doubt that they had the best front four. In Plaxico Burress, Eli got to play with the best and most dynamic receiver among the three teams. He had a talented trio of RB's with complementary styles to hand the ball off to. What more could he ask for?

Big Ben, on the other hand, has a suspect offensive line, a team that struggles to run the ball, and no dominating WR on the outside. But, they do have a suffocating defense.

The Chargers have a lot of talent...supposedly. Rivers had played with a good o-line (not as much currently) and a HOF TE and RB. But, his receivers weren't that great until the last year or so. The Chargers defense was good and talented prior to injuries taking away two key pieces...Merriman and Williams.

I would argue that the biggest difference is management and coaching. Ben and Eli have the benefit of A+ staffs...great GM's and head coaches. Rivers on the other hand has AJ Smith and Norv Turner. Tell me who doesn't belong on that list.

I'd go Ben, Rivers and Eli, in that order. I can't put anyone but Roethlisberger at the top simply based on the fact that he has multiple Super Bowl rings.
