Is this a new gym that will just double as an indoor practice facility?

Scott's time will come for new facilities..

 

Simon Kenton is getting a new weight room, locker room, and indoor facility all in one. It's going to be at the far end of the field, next to the visitor sidelines, they are going to keep the visitor side stands and fix up the press box. The locker room now will be the visitor locker room and the old weight room will be taken out. Also, they are going to take the bleachers up 30 rows high, with a press-box going along the whole top. Baseball, and softball are getting lights, and tennis courts are going down in the land Kenton Elementary never used.

No way in the world Simon Kenton should be getting a practice facility unless the funding is coming elsewhere and not by Kenton County Board of Education. My reason is simple Scott sits there with only 1 gym while Dixie and SK have 2 already all Scott's sports have to share the 1 gym. I know the old saying is Scott has a pool but Dixie uses it for practice for their swim team don't know if SK has a swim team and also uses Scott for practice or not. County should let Scott use 1 of SK or Dixie's gym for practice since they only have 1 at Scott.

 

I guess what I am trying to say is Scott deserves 1 more gym before SK gets a practice facility especially if the practice facility is being paid for by Kenton County.

 

Can't believe the County would take Kenton Elementary's play ground to make a band field for SK. Whatever happened to the parking lots for band practice come on people the kids need the play ground more!!!!!!!

 

Scott will be the last phase of the project. Dixie was first, Simon Kenton was second and Scott will be last.

 

State Championship Game + Miles Simpson = Practice Facility.

From what I've heard, and it wasn't set in stone then. It was practice facility downstairs, weights, and locker room upstairs.

And the Beechwood weight and locker room is comparable to the storage room for that bomb shelter.

That sounds similar to the one gym at Dixie so I guess they are duplicating that. Does Dixie ever use their rubber floor gym for football practice?
