They were off duty cops, but in last sentence it stated: All officers working on this date were clearly marked with shirts that had "Police" in targe white letters on the back and "Police" on the front left breast. Officers were also wearing duty rigs and B.D.U, pants. Guess they were off duty , but still in uniform? I thought the same thing too at first goldie. Then after I read it over a couple more times, I think it was more of a private party and these off duty cops were hired as private security for the function.

I don't mind the drinking at all and for the most part, yes, all college kids do do it. Getting into a physical altercation with police officers is a big deal, however.
October 14, 200916 yr I am totally against underage drinking. Jennings is 20. He should not be given a pass. Smith is 22. No problem there.
