This is a season wrecker for the type of season FSU was hoping for. As bad as I hate to say it, it might be time for Bobby to step down and fish for a while although he obviously had nothing to do with the turnovers. FSU just didnt seem to have any fire at all! I think Fla St has outstanding personnel but, for whatever reason, they dont seem to be meshing!

Swampy is somewhere buying up all the booze in South Beach.
Actually I'm 99 miles north of Tampa heading home and unable to talk from screaming my head off.

14.5 pt underdog!!! Yeah. FSU had no answer for BJ Daniels. The hits that produced 3 of those fumbles were vicious. The Bulls D was amazing.

I'm losing battery. Be back later.

I hate to agree, but they amazed me today. They may win the Big East as long as the QB can make plays.

This one shocked me, but I'm glad. The ACC is terrible.

Congrats to Swamprat!! :thumb::thumb:

USF completely shutting down FSU's ground game was very suprising to me, I knew USF had a pretty good "D" but hold FSU to something like 19yards on the ground!! WOW

Man, Bobby was quotable in that video....

"How do we feel? The opposite of last week. How do they feel? Like we did last week."

"I'd say our momentum would be dead still wouldn't it?"

USF may be the best team in the Big East. They are loaded with speed and talent. That frosh QB seems like some player as well. USF-Cincy is going to be a barnburner.

1) I don't know how the players kept from passing out in those green uniforms. Hot, humid day. Doak Campbell ran out of bottled water before the end of the first half. Thank God it rained in the 4th quarter, to cool things down some.

2) FSU rushed for 18 yards.

3) Jason Pierre-Paul (90) and Craig Marshall (94). They are reason the Noles had to take the double team off George Selvie. Once that happened, a different kind of chop chop was in store for Ponder.

4) A 30 year FSU season ticket holder told me that he had never seen visitor's crowd that large. There were more than 12,000 of us. You could tell as we entered the stadium chanting USF, USF, USF, that the Nole fans were taken aback by us.

5) BJ Daniels, the red shirt freshman starting his first game: 126 rushing 215 passing 341 yards of total offense. Not bad for his first start.

6) If the Bulls could make field goals, this would have worse.

Didn't you just say the ACC was not good?

The USF front 7 will give UC fits, but that's not very different from the last however many years you want to go back. Will it be enough? I hope not...

Thought about you Swampy when I saw this score! Congrats man!!!! I agree Bowden seems like he has lost his grip there the last few years. They were unreal in the 90's but that fear of FSU is long gone right now. This one had to sting pretty bad for Bowden and I would think USF wanted this game a lot more!

Oh yeah, USF wanted this more. Jim Leavitt said after the 2007 season, when asked about there being a Big 4 in Florida now, that until the Bulls play, compete with, and start beating members of the Big 3, there could be no Big 4. This is the 13th year of Bulls football and just like many other things this program has wanted to do, it's ahead of schedule. From a recruiting sand point, yesterday's win was the biggest in USF's short history. Bigger than Auburn in 2007, and at West Virginia in 2006.

Regardless of what happens in the Big East and ACC races, the game on November 28th in Raymond James Stadium, looms large now. I guarantee you that Randy Shannon will do everything possible, to win that game. With USF's new athletic facilities, and approval of a state of the art athletic living center (dorms, cafeteria, etc.), the recruiting war will take a turn in the wrong direction for the U, if they don't manhandle the Bulls on that day. It'll be worse if they lose.

BTW - I had more fun yesterday, than I've had at any sporting event in my life. That's how great yesterday was.
