I told my boy that I would wear the flair hair visor tonight and would wear it everday for a year if our defense shut them out. Small thanks for the ending score, but was this the same defense we have witnessed in the past weeks? They put on a tackling clinic and played some fantastic defense. The coaching staff had them ready and the boys were awesome. Huge win, wanted by most against the GCL. Bardo get well quick.....

If Bardo wasn't injured after the run, I think they might have scored. Hope he's ok and turns out to be nothing.

Cameron Dierig (#53) was going up against the biggest high school lineman (#78) I've ever seen. He looked like he was 50% taller than Cameron. Yet, Dierig contained him. :thumb:

Attended the game with my good buddy and backup color man Greg Spencer and as long as I live I'll remember the night I spent in Ft. Thomas when I witnessed Highlands beat St. X. You represented KY well. To use Al Michaels is in appropriate since this was total domination by Highlands. I'd say it was more "Down goes Tyson". Highlands D seemed like they either had 13 men on the field or knew the plays. Austin Collinsworth can turn on a dime and runs very hard. He dished out as much as he took. Thanks to Carolyn Smith for being such a gracious host. An incredible BBC burger at the new resaurant on the corner, even though it was rented out by St. X fans. Let me also speak for all CovCath fans and wish Bardo a quick recovery. That really, really stinks.
