I have read that Saint X's pass defense has not really been tested so much to-date, and if there is a relative weakness it may be that... so Highlands is going to have to really do well in the air in order to hang around.

 

I think Highlands may really struggle on the lines.

 

Highlands' defense will probably have to play a perfect game for HHS to have a very good chance at the win.

The Bombers will play very hard. But it really doesn't have a lot to do with the Birds. This is a nationally televised game and every college coach in the country can easy access this game. There could be college scholarship won next Friday night. That's the reality of this game.

Then Florida went to Ohio State and knocked off the Buckeyes in the horseshoe,while everyone thought Florida didn't stand a chance of winning that game. Because the passing game IMO is what wasn't really clicking on all cylinders but after last night, I think that will give them a chance. And when Bardo can run with it and add Collinsworth into it, then there is a chance. Add the bruinsing Fenell to the mix, another chace. Watching the Birds lineman and receivers do some great downfield blocking last night, then there's a chance. With the way the kicking game is coming around, there's a chance. The way the d-lineman and linebackers are playing right now, I think there's a chance.

 

Hey, I said I am a "homer" so there is no way I would pick against the Birds. Oh and HHS has nothing to loose. Because if they would loose, everybody will say they were suppose to, right? But when they win, then a whole different story. Go ahead, try some. The Kool Aid is great!!!!

 

Why do you think HHS will run the ball on X considering a great running team like Colerain put up a goose egg against X?

Really? We're comparing Division 1 football programs to HHS v X?

 

You left out Milan vs Muncie Central. That would have been a better example.

On another high school sport related site in Ohio, they are making fun of Cincinnati St. X/Elder for playing such a weak schedule filled with Kentucky teams.

 

The Cincinnati St. X fans are likening the assault on the Kentucky HS football teams as the "Sherman March to the sea".

 

Then again I always thought the Cincinnati St. X fans/students had some smarts but with this comment I think they may need a lesson in Geography or map reading: "will Highland Heights suffer the same fate as Atlanta and Savannah"?

And then every poster after this clown were playing this guy down. Apparently not one of theirs. You will have those in the group that falsely post under the wrong team. I'm sure the true St. X people have a lot more class and knowledge than this toilet bowl tenant. That was just a bunch of yap yap yap!

 

One more reason to not cross the Ohio!

I picked the Bluebirds. I sure hope they can win this game it would be a great step for them to climb up the polls nationally.

I love the Birds but I'm a realist...I think the offense can hang for a while but the defense is another story..JMO

I guess Sherman got kicked last year when he ventured south as I recall Trinity handled them easily!

 

Cincy X is a very good team this year but high school football changes year to year. Assuming Cincy X takes care of business against Highlands, this is a good year for Cincy football and they have a great team, but that can change next year!

Here is this what you want me to write? The Birds are going to dominate X and win by 5td's..St.X is the best team in Ohio and top 5 in the country. Why should I say something I don't believe is going to happen. It will be close for a while then the size, speed, and depth will start to take over. 42-21 St. X...I hope I am wrong I just don't see the Birds pulling it off..Sorry to disappoint you BH..JMO
