September 15, 200917 yr For those of you that said Palmer looked bad where you watching the same game I was? I saw him miss maybe 2 throws. His receivers dropped at least 5 maybe 6 balls that were right to them. He was 21-33 and I think he made a bunch of real good throws. He was pressured at times thanks to Collins mostly. Add in 4 catches from this drops and he's 25-33. The one pick was a good play by Bailey and Chad gave up on the play after it got tipped. And I didn't see the pick on the desperation drive. It was his first game in about 2 years. I was very pleased with the way he played. He stepped up in the pocket and avoided the rush a few times as well. Looks like mobility was fine. He's going to get sharper as the season goes on as well.
September 15, 200917 yr Come on. That's no fun. It's like going to the car race just to see the big wreck. Actually the disfunction of this franchise has become the entertainment. I never wanna see a wreck like the end of that game again. :irked:
September 15, 200917 yr I mean I understood the point. Also, it is one winning season in the past two decades (I don't count 1990) I'm just saying - one winning season in 20 years - there are problems somewhere in that organization. Correct?

September 15, 200917 yr He's got some pretty good defenses coming up. Hope your right. GB looked stacked on D this weekend. I am worried about Collins getting Carson killed. No freaking way Coles drops 4 firsts down this weekend. They were all on 3rd down too.

September 15, 200917 yr  Who said that there wasn't? So, what is the problem? Is it the ownership or what?
September 15, 200917 yr Right. Easily should've been 25-33. Some Bengal "fans" are just as bad at being critical as the Bengals are at finishing games. The sky is falling....Carson is a lower tier QB and will never be good again.

I don't understand Coles. Even I think he is better than that. Is there a possibilty that these WRs just didn't get enough time with CP? His ball has to come out different than the other QBs on the team.

His ball has to come out different than the other QBs on the team. I was thinking about that, I think it's velocity. If Jordan gets a ton of reps, I don't think he has nearly the arm strength of Carson. O'Sullivan may be closer. Being all righty's, I can't see too much of a difference besides velocity.

His ball has to come out different than the other QBs on the team. Maybe that is possible but they hit him right in the hands. Carson and Chad seemed to be on the same page as far as timing routes so I don't think it was that big of a issue. I think it was just one of this days for him really. I don't see that happening again. I hate to say it but if we had TJ I bet we win that game by a TD.
September 15, 200917 yr Author I never wanna see a wreck like the end of that game again. :irked: Buffalo tried to match it last night.

September 15, 200917 yr Buffalo tried to match it last night. That was possibly worse. The Bengals just got unlucky Buffalo was just dumb.
