I was thinking about that, I think it's velocity. If Jordan gets a ton of reps, I don't think he has nearly the arm strength of Carson. O'Sullivan may be closer. Being all righty's, I can't see too much of a difference besides velocity.

I think that's part of it. CP didn't get much action AT ALL this preseason & was also very limited in practice. Combine that with the fact that this was his 1st live action since October & you've got a recipe for a few miscues.

After the touchdown. When the Bengals' scored the clock read 38, and then all of a sudden changed to 20. McDaniels caught it, and that's what he was discussing with the refs. You could read his lips saying that the Bengals called a timeout. The announcers had no clue what was going on, but then again, what do you expect from Dan Fouts. Then the referee didn't help much when he tried to explain the situation. It had nothing to do with losing the challenge. The Bengals simply screwed up and called a TO.

If the Bengals lose Sunday the sky might have indeed have fallen. Since 2000 only 7 out of 64 teams that started 0-2 have rebounded to make the playoffs.
