BYU 14 Oklahoma 13

AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Big 12 is better than the SEC you know :)

I'll never understand why some QB's think its a good idea to drop back 7 yards before they knee the ball.

Just a good way to get yourself drilled

Final.

OU's title dreams might be gone now.

Keep in mind...it's always better to lose early than late.

SWEET!!! Go Cougars!!!

Have to agree with you there. BYU's left tackle didn't look to happy that the QB got hit toward the end, but he really wasn't down yet.

I think that BYU has a better chance of getting to the Nat'l Title game now than does OU.

In the thread you responded that OU was done, and you've already switched that to might. The fact is that the Big 12 is regarded as a top 2 conference and that if OU ran the table from here on out, they would have a legitimate chance of being in the title game. This was a loss to a ranked team by 1 point at a neutral-ish site. This is hardly the type of loss that I believe ends aspirations immediately.

This likely should shove them up around #10. They've got a home game with Florida State in two weeks that could move them up a couple more spots. Mix in games with TCU and Utah and that's four possibly very good wins.

I've always thought the best way for a non-BCS team to make the title was start off the season high in the rankings. Too many times these teams start around 25-35 and don't have enough wins or "name" wins to move up. BYU wasn't terribly high to start, but a win over the #3 team in the country should shoot them up.

Come the end of the year ESPN announcers will be sure to remind the world that Bradford was out.

This game illustrates why offensive line play is the key to great football teams, not skill players. Oklahoma had a hard time running the ball, couldn't protect Bradford, and committed 10 offensive penalties. They were exposed by a BYU defense that was mediocre last year in the Mountain West.

I agree with the announcers that OK will have to run the table to get a shot at the title.

When QB's do that they are trying to kill time, not show boat.

Oh, I know...

Still a great way to get yourself laid out.
