BYU 14 Oklahoma 13

Featured Replies

ESPN just scrolled Bradford injury typically 2-4 week recovery time.

If Bradford plays in 2nd half OU wins by 10 or so. Shame for OU, but worse for fans of the SEC now BYU will whine and whine about why they deserve to play for the national title if Florida or whoever the SEC champion is goes 12-1 and looses by 1 to the second best team in the conference.

This game illustrates why offensive line play is the key to great football teams, not skill players. Oklahoma had a hard time running the ball, couldn't protect Bradford, and committed 10 offensive penalties. They were exposed by a BYU defense that was mediocre last year in the Mountain West.

And last year Oklahoma had the best O Line in the country.....

If Oklahoma wins out, they will be making an extremely strong case for the National title game and IMO will get in if the other top teams stumble as the teams that lose early aren't hurt as bad as the ones who lose late in the season... OU is just fine...

If Bradford plays this entire game Oklahoma wins by 2 or more TDs. Sad to see Sam go down like this, hope to see him recover and get back to his full potential.

Mark it down this loss will hurt OU.

OU won't make the title game, mark it down.

They hadn't done much on offense with him in the game in the first half. I'm not saying they wouldn't have played better, but the Sooners weren't exactly setting the woods on fire with Bradford.

It's a shame that Oklahoma had to lose like this, I hope Bradford can recover soon and they can turn the season around. I believe that if Gresham were healthy OU would have still won the game, a good pass-catching tight end is the best friend for a young, inexperienced Quarterback.

Congratulations to BYU on a hard fought victory, I think they run the table and may even be in the discussion for a National Title berth.

Maybe not. But I maintain if they don't lose again, they will be there. Book it.
