February 2, 201016 yr I'm still working on Whirlwind. I don't think it's ever taken me this long to read a book. I probably could have finished it this weekend, but I decided to take a sabbatical from life and watch the entire Godfather Trilogy in one day on Sunday. :lol: Ahhhh....10 hours of pure Godfather bliss!

Well, maybe six hours and change of Godfather bliss. The last two hours and change would be pure hell, considering how awful the third one was.

It's a collection of essays and columns from the couple that previously appeared in Kentucky Living magazine (David's "Essays from Plum Lick") and All Around Kentucky (Lalie's columns from the Ky. February 3, 201016 yr I kind of want to dust that one off. Has anyone read the Glass Castle? WONDERFUL read! Great, sad story, but made even better considering it's true! Jeannette Walls new book is just as good! Highly recommend. Met the author this past fall in Cincinnati. She was doing a book signing and gave a talk at the Convention Center. It was really worth the trip. While I didn't consider myself a 'book nerd', I guess I am, and I'm now pretty proud of it!

Plus, I like the third one. I think it's better if you watch it immediately following the 2nd one, though. It's so far into the future from the 2nd one, that I think that's why people think the 3rd one is awful. Watched back-to-back-to-back, I thought it was all pretty much amazing!

Now I ain't great at math, but I know that 175 (G1's run time) +200 (G2's run time) =375, and that there are 60 minutes to an hour.
