September 10, 200917 yr I recently came into a bunch of volumes of a set of books entitled "History of United States Naval Operations in World War II", as well as a 2-volume set of Harry Truman's memoirs. I'll probably wait until it gets too cold for golf to wade in on those.
September 11, 200917 yr I have never read a book in my life except for the Bible. But after our ballgame with LCA they were feeding our players and coaches when the FCA director introduced a speaker(former wrestling coach at Woodford County)who spoke to our kids while they ate and when he was finished they gave every coach a book called " The Long Snapper" by Jeffery Marx. I started reading this today and I must say this is a great story. I can't wait until I have more time to read it. I must also say that LCA has to rank as one of the most Classy programs in the state.
September 11, 200917 yr I finished The Hobbit not long ago and I'm slowly working on The Fellowship of the Ring.

September 11, 200917 yr Just picked up the first seven books of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series at a yard sale. It will be "inside weather" before you know it.

One of the best series I have read.Jordan was an awesome storyteller. Terry Goodkind's 'Sword of Truth' series is another of my favorites.

January 5, 201016 yr Just finished Sarah Palin...Going Rogue Getting ready to start Under the Dome by Stephen King about half way through with The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe
January 18, 201016 yr Reading "Influencer: The Power to Change Anything". We'll see how that sticks. :lol: Also reading "Whirlwind" by James Clavell. Not sure how I missed this one in my quest to read all things "Noble House".
