Speaking of prey, have you read any of the "Prey" (Lucas Davenport) novels by John Sandford? They're pretty good.

I'm really not much of a reader, mostly because I don't feel I ever have the time for it. I think I am going to try to read "The Hunger Games" over the holidays though. Has anyone read these? Are they a quick read? How did you like them?

I read them only because I work at a bookstore. I don't like Young Adult stuff; I prefer military history.

 

I was SHOCKED by how good they were. The end of the first chapter is breathtaking. Read them each in a day.

Re-reading 1984 and starting What It Takes: The Way to the White House.

Finished "The Christmas Train" by David Baldacci

Finished "The Litigators" by John Grisham. Much better after I got through the first 3 chapters. Good read.

Re-reading "The Girl Who Played with Fire" and "11/22/63" .

Got The Walking Dead compendium for Christmas. About halfway through & am hooked. Never read a single comic book until now.
