September 7, 200917 yr I hope this September fever doesn't keep the management satisified. I guess I can dream.
September 7, 200917 yr They can't lose!!!! Yup, now they'll probably sign Gomes, Janish, Hanigan and McDonald to long term deals and extend Rolen's contract until he's 45. That's their usual MO.

September 7, 200917 yr Author I applaud you serious baseball guys. That's impressive. I just can't watch so many wannabe MLBers in a MLB game. I can't wait for the playoffs to begin. Quite a few of these "wannabe MLBers" have been putting up some solid numbers. Drew Stubbs, since making his MLB debut, has led the team in runs, home runs & maybe hits?

September 7, 200917 yr Author ^ I'll start: Ryan Freel Old management. But you're right, horrible signing.
September 8, 200917 yr Reds bullpen blows a 3-1 lead to the Rockies. Homer pitched another pretty good game, going 5 2/3 giving up only 1 run, striking out 6, but walking 5.
September 8, 200917 yr The error by Homer that would have ended the 6th was really big. If he makes that play Masset would have been in the next inning.

You're right, and the most telling thing to me was Homer's attitude after the game. A few months ago this would have been a great outing for Homer; however, he wasn't pleased with his performance. I watched the entire game & I think Homer gave up 5 official hits. Of those 5, 2 of them should not have been scored hits. Homer was hitting 97 when he was taken out. He looked good.
