Tough road game before the Cincy X game.

I can remember another fall night a few years ago when LC had no prayer against St X, and wound up winning the game on a field goal by our third line kicker. Mike G took an oath that that would not happen again and it hasn't. Still, they have to play the game before they can count it, and anything can happen. Among the best values of playing a program like St X (and we have Trinity at end of season too) is that it gives us a measurement of where we are, as a whole and departmently. I'm giving our kids credit for putting out a heck of an effort, but I think St X's resources will overwhelm us in the end. I would really enjoy giving Mike and Bill Glaser a bad case of stomach distress on the way home though.

This game will be surprsing to most, due to the halftime score that Im going to predict

You are correct. If we don't stop the run Friday night, it'll be a long, long night at Ford Stadium.

I remember that game well. I was only a freshman, but it's one of my favorite memories from LexCath and high school. I would really enjoy giving Glaser some as well, but I guess we'll see Friday night!

This is a good scheduling spot for Lexington Catholic. They catch Louisville St. Xavier at home and with powerful Cincinnati St. Xavier on next week's schedule.

 

I do not think that Lexington Catholic has the horses this season to beat St. X. I think they will be well prepared and will play with them for a while, but I can't see them pulling a monumental upset.

Defense in the middlle against belly runs and counter series has been our Achilles heel so far this season...we just don't have the wide bodies to withstand the thrust of the O line and the back's momentum when he gets there...but there's always speed...

Knight go down big time, I am thinking 48-7.
