I was just disappointed with how this senior class panned out. As freshmen I thought they would be pretty good. But your right, the Coaching staff wasn’t up to Par.

Zach was not the problem. The defensive giving up 500 yards rushing per game was the problem.

Last year is why we are in the place were in now. Facts are facts; whoever was CCH’s QB last year was going to struggle because they couldn’t even block 2 seconds for whoever was QB. But, who were the wins off of last year New Cath and Scott. Wow! That same team and coaches would be 0 – 3 and probably would have been blown out and show no signs of improvement as this team this year is showing every weak.

Whats CCH freshmen team like?

Ok, I looked their o – line is 4 seniors and 1 JR. Their QB is a senior; their two running backs are JRS. Their 4 primary receivers are 3 sophomores and 1 JR. But there are some older players who sub in every now and then. I do not know about the defense with seniors, juniors or sophomore but I do know that they returned one started from last years team and one of their linebackers is a senior and this is his first year playing linebacker. And CCHS QB actually played LB last year. But there are a lot of young guys playing but all of the classes; even the seniors had no experience.

I agree, even in the Ryle game they shot themselves in the foot. But that’s what you get when you playing with 40% sophomores. But I think CCH will win this one easily

Yes I agree, 100 %. There is no doubt that Erpenbeck should’ve been the QB last year. But don’t forget, he got his 1st start against Louisville St.Xavier, Explain Coach B’s thinking on that one last year?

I know cincy St. X, No matter who they play, even if they lose, they never give up points. Last year it was like this and this year is shaping up to be the same way. I go on and look at LSTX roster and stats, but you are right, my opinion is a bit bias, and I am sorry if I made anyone angry. But Cincy St. X is just unreal on the defensive side of the ball, no they all aren’t D-1 prospects but they are the best coach Defensive in the nation and they are all over. But anyway, Cincy X, it’s impossible to judge LSTX on their first to cupcake games. As fans you do not even know what kind of team you got. But you will know after Friday.

I have this much confidence in Coach Wirth, and you know, it has been just these past 2 years when CCH really hasn’t competed with OH teams. From 2006 and back we always competed. And as a CCH alum, it is very hard to watch in two short years we have gone from state champs to 5 -7, 5 – 7, now 0 – 3 and some of the worst losses ever. Wirth is a great coach and I think they will only lose 2 more game. I think Dixie will be tuff but I think they should at least finish 5 – 5.

To me it would be awesome if they had a KY vs. Oh or Cincinnati classic at PBS and the next Year at Papa john stadium. Could everyone imagine a line up like this Highlands vs. Elder CCH vs. Centreville “near Dayton” Trinity vs. Colerain X vs. Moeller Lex Cath vs. X “OH” I don’t know if this could happen, but I would go and I think it would be a money maker. You could also add some smaller Ohio teams vs. smaller KY teams.

I have just bought into Coach Wirth and his staff. I think this team has potential to finish 5 – 5, that’s not good but for them it would be huge, and if they could get to the 3rd rd of the playoffs that would be huge for these JR’s and SOPH. And for these seniors, who isn’t the most talented senior class ever for them to finish 5 – 5 and maybe finish 7 - 6 with the playoffs would be good for the fact they didn’t have all of their 3 seasons bad ones. But I don’t want to say they are going to blowout against anyone, maybe by week 8 when they play HHS they will have approved enough to make it a game, I think this team has HEART and that’s what the past 2 years didn’t have. The only reason I think they will get better because I have been to every game and I think each week starting with HC in the scrimmage, they are getting better and I just feel that this team will not go out like the past 2 years did.

Withrow is very bad, HHS shouldn’t have any trouble. HHS – 35 Withrow - 7

They very well may just for the reason St. X “oh” doesn’t have an explosive offense. If they were playing elder or Moeller with the Explosive offenses, I would say it would be a blow out.

I don’t see it happening. I am not saying a win but it will be no 61 to 0 or 56 to 0 or 57 to 0.

Colerain – 55 Manuel – 0 ST.X OH - 31 ST.X KY – 3 Elder – 38 Trinity – 7 I just think Elder is way to strong for Trinity. ST. X OH defensive will be too much For St. X KY. On the scoreboard this game may seem close because St. X OH offensive is kind of streaky and you really never know what you are going to get. I am saying 31 to 3 but I also think its could be 24 to 0 or 21 to 7, something around that. ST. X OH is a winner no doubt. Colerain 55 Manual 0, Manual has no chance, even though Colerain is 0 – 2 but their losses come against X and Elder. This one will be done very early.

Campbell Co is not La Salle. Don’t get me wrong, La Salle is not a great team this year but they have athletes and are very fast. If CC just throws the ball I believe that will give CCH an advantage. What CCH has trouble with is their linebacker getting back into coverage and if they don’t have to worry about the run then they shouldn’t have a problem. I am sorry; I am having a hard time accepting that CC has more talent than CCH. If CC beats CCH, I will be the first one on here giving them credit for their win, but I have a hard time seeing CC even competing with CCH. If CCH was 3 – 0 everyone would be on here saying no chance CC beats CCH, but CCH is 0 – 3, but they were never blown out and that’s what these good coaches have done. This senior class has no since of winning, they have gone 5 – 7 back to back years and suffered some of the worst losses in CCH history. My point is don’t count this CCH team out. Are they the most athletic? No, but they are working hard and their coaches are coaching them hard. This senior class was so far behind on simple things such as linebackers reading the run or how to shed a block and these coaches had to ret each thing that were taught freshmen year. This is one of the disadvantages of having 3 coaches in 4 years. I really believe this CC game will be CCH’s “coming out party” and they will turn their season around. No, I am not saying they are going to come out and beat Highlands, Louis St.Xavier and win a state championship. But I guarantee everyone one thing. This CCH team might loose games, but they will never be blown out.

I’m not down playing CCHS victory, but Roger Bacon isn’t that good. They just don’t have that much talent, with how kids are recruited in Cincinnati to play, if you are truly a good player, you will be going to Elder, St.Xavier, Moeller or La Salle. I’m not saying they don’t every now and again have good players but the past 3 to 4 years they have been very down.

The GCL is the best league of high school football in the nation; I do want to say I give teams like Trinity, St. Xavier, CCH, Highland, Manuel, and I think Lexington Henry clay played La sale last year, a lot of credit, these schools could schedule pancake games and roll over everyone 63 to 7 every game but they don’t and for teams from Louisville its realistic for them that the only way they can schedule teams that will compete with them is to go to Indianapolis or Cincinnati. With that said, I love to see OH vs. KY and I hope to see it for years to come. Good luck ST.X “ky” but I just don’t see them pulling out a win.

I think that Louis St.X will struggle a lot in this game. They have played 2 pretty weak opponents, and I think they will not be able to handle what Cincy St.X will bring. Cincy St. X could most likely have the best Defensive in the whole country. They held Colerain”OH’ to 0 points and Cathedral Prep “IN” to 7. The only shot realistically to me for Louis St.X to hold them to 0 to 7 points. If they did what Trinity did last year then I think they possibly could pull out a win. I honestly do not know to much about Louis St.X but I do know for fact they will not put big numbers on the bored and I believe ST.X’s defensive will dominate this game. St.X”OH” – 31 St.X”KY” - 3
