Sorely mistaken. They will be lucky to field a .500 team this year.

Bell Co. Should have a pretty good freshman squad, with nearly the whole team that went to the middle school state championship moving up to the high school level for '09.

McCreary will play a freshmen schedule for the first time that I can remember. This just shows how far the program has come in the last several years. The youth teams are always competitive and the middle school team has been playing very well for years and the high school has made the playoffs the last two years and should continue to improve.

From what I have been told, the Frosh Rocks will field a very, very talented team.....sounds great to me.

Rock's 8th grade team lost to Boyle middle twice and Boyle was not great.

I was speaking with a member of the Coaching family and he told me they got just about all the CSAA kids they wanted and said this team will be more talented than last years team.

It remains to be seen whether or not this team will be more talented than last years TOP to BOTTOM. Last years group had an attitude and work ethic I have never seen before from a freshman group. However, there are about 4 or 5 kids in this group who are probably more talented individually. The jury is still out on them as a unit since no one has seen them all on the same field or in the same room, yet!:sssh:

They can't even play a JV schedule without playing senior on the JV team. Thats way my son quit. So I guess you all play senior against Freshman.

I agree Bell should have a really good freshmen team. They will be very talented as well as have the size.

Not true. Beechwood will have a freshman team. The numbers are lower than normal like happens at times in a small school. This year's senior class at Beechwood has only 8 or 9 players and those guys are all wearing two championship rings. There will be a freshman team.
