I didn't know that any such movie existed in which the plot was the killing of GWB.

Didn't say I was OK with it. I said I wasn't outraged. I'm not outraged about the Obama joke either. Personally, I detest both. Fortunately, hardly anybody saw the movie. In fact, that's the first time I've heard about it and it was released 3 years ago. Fortunately, hardly anybody thinks this joke is funny, either.

Depends on your audience. Friends, family, or dude walking down the street. As long as your audience "knows" your joking any of these should be acceptable. You got to know who your speaking to and who your speaking to has to know you for some of these things to be acceptable.

There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that is out of line for a joke.

Joke, of course, is the key word. Too bad we now live in a society that has turned being offended into a national sport.

You'll be shocked but I lean towards all being fair game when it comes to jokes. I may not LIKE the joke but I'm not comfortable saying one group or person is OK for jokes but not others.

 

This would fall into the "I don't LIKE the joke" category.

Maybe, but there are too many idiots that don't have a sense of humor, that will take something like that seriously. When you start joking about it, some fool will think it's OK now to do it. Remember, all John Hinckley needed was to think he was impressing Jodie Foster.

Seriously, there are too many idiots in general...has any of them ever been sent over the edge or onto a killing spree by a joke? Did Hinckley hear a joke that sent him on his course?

 

If a comedian made a joke like that, he'd be crucified in the press.

 

Perhaps we should just outlaw all joking in this great, free country of ours...almost every joke you hear is offensive to someone.
