Joking About Shooting the POTUS

Featured Replies

There are very few jokes that could ever possibly bother me(killing the President would be one that doesn't), but there are many situations where I see some jokes as inappropriate, whether or not I think they're funny. Joking about killing the President in a public setting is inappropriate to me, in the privacy of your own home with friends is a whole different story.

Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn't seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other man pulls out his cell phone and calls emergency services.

He gasps to the operator: "My friend is dead! What can I do?"

The operator in a calm, soothing voice replies: "Take it easy. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead."

There is a silence, then a shot is heard.

Back on the phone, the hunter says, "OK, now what?"

So if you guys had a loved one who died some horrible death, then it wouldn't be inappropriate for others to make jokes about their death?

In general, you can make that argument against almost any joke. However, its all about the audience. Sensitivity has to be factored into the telling of a joke.

Now, if you DON'T think that's funny, :idunno:

VERY funny!!!!!
