The last of a political dynasty. He will be missed. RIP

While I didn't agree with him as much in these last decades, I will always remember his eulogy of brother Bobby and believe that was as fine a eulogy I have ever heard in my life.

RIP Senator Kennedy.

Although unsuccessful in his bid for the presidency, it can be argued that, after 46 years in the Senate, his legacy will be farther-reaching than that of his brothers. A person of wealth and privilege who always fought for the disenfranchised. RIP.

Passed this morning.

This is the end of an era.

I wonder if Mary Jo Kopechne was waiting at the pearly gate for Ted.

And yeah, I know. "What a terrible thing to say about someone who has just died. Blah, Blah, Blah."

What a terrible thing to say about someone who has just died. Blah, blah blah.:p

Seriously, even though I disagreed with nearly everything he stood for, I never wish harm or sickness to anyone. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

I'll second this.

Same here, I do not wish harm, sickness or death on anyone...... politicians or otherwise.

As a senator/politician I couldn't stand him and disagree with most if not all of his far left agenda but he was a man wit a famil and my thoughts go to that family as well.

Not sure which gate Ted has just visited, but I'm right there with you dad.

It would be nice if others would feel the same way.

I feel for his children, they lost their father. Other then that I won't lose any sleep.
