August 24, 200917 yr Definitely enjoy this movie and totally own it as well. I was still pretty surprised when I found out that it was based off of a Stephen King novel. A lot of great movies are based off of his stories that people wouldn't think. Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile are two others that most people don't know about.
August 24, 200917 yr A lot of great movies are based off of his stories that people wouldn't think. Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile are two others that most people don't know about. King has a deep side to him that isn't all gothic and horror. That's really the side I like the most.
August 24, 200917 yr Good movie. Wish I could find it in stores. I bought it a few weeks ago in the bargain bin at WalMart. I've seen it in several of their stores. Maybe you can find it in a WalMart in your area. It's one of my favorite movies. I've watched it many times since its release. Stephen King really did a good job with this script. This one and Shawshank Redemption are two of his best. Edited August 24, 200917 yr by The Professor
August 24, 200917 yr Author Just watching this movie shows the difference in acting between then and now. Seems like a lot more work went into acting because they didn't have all the special effect technology that they do now and it helped the audience connect to the story and characters better.
