I agree, and also don't see how what they did could be seen as disrespectful in the least. If you listen to the words, it's actually a pretty appropriate song for a wedding. Just because it's not the "traditional" wedding song, doesn't mean it's disrespectful or inappropriate.

Somewhat, but of course that is completely different. Those are people showing reverence to the Lord in their own way. The people in the video were just showing off...likely in hopes of making a big splash on Youtube. Mission acomplished.

There are way too many people in this world that just aren't happy unless they're upset about something.

Not to mention the bridal party's dresses were ugly and the groom had a bad haircut.

It's not my cup of tea, but I don't care what other people do. It's their choice, not mine. I see no disrespect at all in what they did. Like I said, some people just like to fuss.

Again, the disrespect is that fact that it's in a Christian church. Simply not the place. As to the pastor or congregation, I question their ethics and the level of their faith. JMO.

 

This had nothing to do with them having a little fun, I'm cool with that. I have a problem with acting like a fool in church and that was simply foolish behavior for church.

You would never see this happen in a Catholic ceremony , then again you wouldn't see a woman minister ( priest ? ) either .I enjoyed the video immensely and and saw nothing wrong with it . That said I'm glad my daughter and son chose to walk down the aisle in traditional style . I cant dance that well anymore , old knees from too much refereeing on lousy soccer fields .

You can not question someones faith for this. Do you question a priest's or minister's faith when they talk about money or something other than God in their homily because a homily is supposed to be teaching the word of God, is that disrespectful to the Lord? Some people have a different kind of faith, and that is perfectly fine, just don't condem them for it.
