Hatz
Kentucky is right Hatz for Jay. I know him pretty well, our kids are close friends with each other. He stopped by the office yesterday to chat. I was thinking he was Boyle's first major college recruit. He might have even been there when Tom Duffy was at UK, I don't remember. Always thought Jay was a GREAT assistant at Danville and did a great job for both Tom and Sam Harp. Thought it was really ironic in 1990 when the two schools (Danville and Boyle) voted on an all time team for each and three players that made the Admiral squad were at the Boyle game that night (Jim Donlon, Sam Burke and Theo Cotton) and one of Boyle's all time greats (Jay Reynolds) was at the DHS game.

extackler
I guess you could add Tyler Grubbs, '09 (Miami of Ohio) How far do you want to go back? Wasn't there a young man by the last name Barringer in the early 90's that went to UK? I'm not sure he played all 4 years, but I remember seeing him on the roster a few years. rollredroll
I maintain a list of High School All-Americans on my website, and, while these lists do not indicate post-high school athletic careers, some of the older names may ring a bell as to where they went to high school. I could also use some help on school names for a few on the really old lists in which I only have a city name for the player: Kentucky High School Football All-Americans
