I bet there are some schools in Cincinnati that are not happy. They are checking out St. Ignatius and getting their arguments in line.

St. X is a fine program but I don't see how SI could overlook Trinity.

 

T has won 7 state titles (X has 1) and been in the state championship every year but 2004, since 2000.

I haven't read the details but I think they be looking at all sports, not just football.

It was another great year for the Tiger athletic teams under the leadership of Athletic Director Alan Dunhoff. Alan is a one-of-a-kind, super good guy, and it's nice to see the efforts of his department, and the St. X. coaches and athletes receive this prestigious recognition. :thumb:

That's because this is based upon total athletic programs not just football.

Nobody will ever be happy over there. You have close to 10 power houses that is why it is one of the top 5 football states.

 

I would take T over X though in KY and I would feel very comfortable saying that.

As much of a Rock fan as I am, there's no way I would dispute the ranking. St. X rules overall. One reason is simply the number years they've been in existance, one is swimming, one is tennis, one is cross country, and then there's football. They are a very successful athletic program overall.
