Dude, these dudes are nuts, what do you need to shoot a dang dog that small for? Three times????????????

That's one way to contain a 5 lb. dog.

They usually call in the SWAT team for man eating Golden Retrievers.:ohbrother:

The article leads me to believe that they tried to stop the dog through other methods, such as a tazer, but it still managed to bite the officer 20+ times.

I admit that I laughed. No offense to the family, the dog, PETA, or whomever. I just have some friends who are local county policemen and I can picture them doing the same thing.:ohbrother:

Could have prevented this simply with a dipnet.

Why would you let a 5 lb dog bite you 20+ times?? 2 grown men and the only way to contain it is to blast it 3 times?? Come on..

If a 5 lb. dog bites me one time, I'm going to toss it to the ground and kick the meaness out of it. If that doesn't work, I'm going to strap a grenade to its back.

Those things may be small but they are psycho and vicious. I had one for a couple of years and he was a little devil. He would just freak out at anytime of any little thing and try to bite you. We finally had to end up putting him to sleep.

Did you have the law come over and shoot him?

I would have probably gave it a good kick.

1) Owners are at fault for not containing their pet.

2) I was completely on board with what the officers did until someone mentioned the SPCA. I do wonder why they weren't called.

3) Bottom line - refer back to #1.

If a Chihuahua bites me once, I going to kick a 40 yd. FG with him as the ball.

I'd say they probably earned marksmen medals..

If it kepy biting the guy, the other officer should have pried its teeth off of him. The tiny dog's jaws could not have been so strong that a grown man could not pry them off of something.
