I just recently bought Backdraft and I have never seen the movie, although I have been on the ride at Universal Studios lol. I own and have seen Ladder 49 several times.

 

Being that they are both movies about fire...which is better?

Like I said...haven't seen it yet. But, I will be starting it sometime here soon tonight.

Trust me, you'll agree once you have. Actually watched it myself just the other day.

Backdraft is awesome. I'm partial to this movie due to the aspect of growing up around a firehouse. My dad got in trouble once for taking me on a run because my mom was late getting there to pick me up. I was about 2 at that time.

Just finished watching Backdraft and I really thought it was good. I really enjoy movies like this and Ladder 49 of course. I am glad that I have now added it to my collection.

 

I thought Kurt Russell did a great job with this one.

 

My vote went to Backdraft now that I am seen them both, and I fee a little foolish for even making the thread.

They are both crap, but in the grand scheme of things Ladder 49 is a much crappier version of crap.

 

Why do feel like they are both crap?

 

Poor plot, bad acting, or etc? Just wondering your reasoning.
