Just heard it on the radio... Gives the Who-Dey a hard hitter.

Another solid signing. Could be a starter with Crocker. If not a great backup!

If his attitude is right and he is in good shape, this is a good pickup. Will help the run defense, not much in coverage anymore.

No way he should be a starter over Ndwueke. If they got him for cheap then I have no problem with the signing, because he would be a good backup to have.

Any chance they try to move him to linebacker?

I think Roy's days as a safety are behind him.

"It's a short term deal with incentives so both parties can get their feet wet."

Works for me...

I have a feeling he won't make it to the first game.

Williams will have a role, and do well with it working with Zimmer. Zimmer is the best pick up the Bengals have made in years. I think their defense is going to be very good this year.

He, Crocker, and Chinindume Ndukwey (sp?) will be pretty good safeties. This defense is going to be GOOD next year!

With Crocker, Chinny, and Marvin White, they should have a pretty solid core of safeties if Williams can contribute.

Solid pick-up and it had been talked about for weeks! He will have some type of role, I think he will help the youngsters on that D and in that locker room among other things!

Very true, I like to see depth there. It is a position that the Bengals seem to have a lot of injuries at.

I like incentive contracts to protect yourself but reward the guy if he earns it. I'm mixed because he is awful in coverage but his best days in the NFL was under the guy he will be playing for so it could be a steal. I love his physical presence but hate his matchup trouble. He's one of the best blitzing safeties in the game that is where Dallas failed with him late IMO.

A really good DB against the run, but his nick name should be toast for his coverage skills.

Steelers had Lee Flowers several years ago, who fit that same mold.

Great pickup. Can't wait for the season, much better defense.
