I loved how Teddy B said "The Steelers thought this was the Super Bowl after they beat us" He then said that we knew we would beat them in the playoffs. The best moment that year was when Hines Ward was crying the next day! I disagree. If you are hurt but are still playing, obviously you and your team feels like you can play at a high level otherwise you would be resting.

 

Being hurt and being injured are very different IMO. Like I said before, many players play hurt and still produce good numbers.

Geathers wasn't healthy and it showed in his lack of production. He battled through some injuries and ultimately had to give it some rest.

 

Geathers has done everything he can to win games, including playing linebacker for almost an entire season. That's the part of his game I respect the most.
