May 7, 200917 yr Here is some more motivation--girls absolutely hate it. Your wife/girlfriend might tell you she doesn't mind, but she does. It is gross, it gets in your teeth, the container your spit in is absolutely repulsive, and she is worried you might die of throat/tongue/lip cancer.
May 9, 200917 yr Being a non dipper myself, Id like to ask you guys how you got into dipping? What made you start doing it in the first place? Tried it the summer before my senior year. Was at a party after a football scrimmage. It didn't do much for me then, but the following monday when I smelled someones can I wanted another dip myself. Been doing it ever since. Almost 7 years now. I will say I don't dip regularly though. Maybe a can a week.
May 9, 200917 yr Author I have been having massive headaches, but thankfully those seem to have subsided, and the cravings are getting a lot better too. There may actually be light at the end.
May 11, 200917 yr Author ^ How long has it been? You still off of it?I had my last dip on Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. and yes I'm still off.
May 11, 200917 yr I had my last dip on Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. and yes I'm still off. You can do it! Each day will get easier, I am proof. 4 years and counting after 25 years of a can of Copenhagen a day. Keep it up. :thumb:
May 11, 200917 yr Hang in there. you've almost got a week under your belt. The first week is the toughest.
May 12, 200917 yr I had my last dip on Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. and yes I'm still off. I've been off for 7 years now after 13 years of dipping. It gets much easier, but you'll think about it from time to time through years to come. I don't think about it much now, but after year 3 I came very close to starting back, but never did touch it. It's important too, if you accidently slip up one time, don't fall back into the trap of making it a habit again.
July 6, 200917 yr Two months and still going...:ylsuper: That is very impressive.:thumb::thumb::thumb:
