Im 19 next week and I have been dipping grizzly wintergreen now for 4 years. I don't think I've gone a total of 10 days without a dip. I reall do think it is impossible to stop. I do wanna stop though but I can't just fight the crave after a hot meal. Anyone else have this crave?

I start thinking about how good the dip is going to taste before I finish a meal. After I eat is the hardest time for me also!

Being a non dipper myself, Id like to ask you guys how you got into dipping? What made you start doing it in the first place?

Like most teenage kids, I thought it was cool. Now, thirty years later and I would hate to think of how many cans, Im still doing it. Anytime I see a young man dipping I give them the lecture I wish someone had given me at that age!

FWIW, I am almost 3 1/2 years dip free. I hope you keep up the good work!

I'm glad to see you quit a bad habit like that. Bad habits are sooo hard to break! I'm very weird with dip. For several years now I have a dip addiction. But it's only during football season?? I start around the beginning of august, and quit after the last game. And have no problem quitting. Very wierd I know.

Congratulations on your quitting a bad (and expensive) habit. :thumb:

I suppose I was one of the lucky ones. My only experience with dipping was around 25 years ago when I was visiting a friend. He was using some sort of wintergreen dip, I believe it was Copenhagen. It smelled good so I asked him for a dip. Within a short time I was dizzy, deathly sick and throwing up:puke:. I had to lay down on his sofa for a while before I left his house. That experience was enough for me.

I can understand this strange addiction.:thumb:
