May 6, 200917 yr The Big Road Machine keeps on rolling, now they got to figure out how to win at home. Six shutouts already, unreal. This is the best staff they've had in A LONG time, since I can remember... I too am glad to see BP heat up a little.
May 6, 200917 yr I noticed that Drew Sutton is playing tonight for the Bats. He had been on the DL. He could be the guy that gets the call of Gonzo goes on the DL.
May 6, 200917 yr The Reds with a team ERA of 3.65 after tonight's game, which puts them at 4th in the majors.
May 6, 200917 yr Author Norris Hopper? Probably the most worthy candidate, but I don't think he'll get the call because he's another outfielder. I think Bankston or Gomes would get the nod over Hopper, due to the lack of power. I'd be alright with any of the 3, but would prefer Gomes. As excited as I am about the current big league pitching staff, the future looks just as bright...
May 6, 200917 yr Glad to see BP get going. :thumb: This pitching staff is just getting the job done. Cueto and Volquez have ridiculous potential to be great.
May 6, 200917 yr Author I noticed that Drew Sutton is playing tonight for the Bats. He had been on the DL. He could be the guy that gets the call of Gonzo goes on the DL. Who / Where is Sutton? AA Carolina has a CF, Chris Heisey, who has been tearing it up. Don't know anything about him other than he's putting up some impressive numbers at Carolina. .345, 4 HR, 7 SB, .462 OBP%

Don't know anything about him other than he's putting up some impressive numbers at Carolina. .345, 4 HR, 7 SB, .462 OBP% Sutton is the 25 year old, speedy, switch hitting infielder the Reds got in the Keppinger trade.
May 6, 200917 yr I don't think it's just the Reds and Marlins, but the Cardinals and Phillies too. There may be more. It's just one of those scheduling quirks. The Red Sox have 2 game series this week with the Yankees and Indians this week as well. Strange week for schedules.
May 6, 200917 yr Author Sutton is the 25 year old, speedy, switch hitting infielder the Reds got in the Keppinger trade. Ahhhh, I knew I recognized that name. Checked out the minor league stats / rosters and didn't see him though. What level?
May 6, 200917 yr I noticed that Drew Sutton is playing tonight for the Bats. He had been on the DL. He could be the guy that gets the call of Gonzo goes on the DL. Looks like he would be a good choice. Pretty good hitter who could play first when Votto gets a day.

May 6, 200917 yr The Reds with a team ERA of 3.65 after tonight's game, which puts them at 4th in the majors. I know you can't do this but if you throw out Licoln it's even better. He's obviously the worst on the staff right now. I wonder where Weathers and Rhodes end up as far as ERA. If they both get above 3.00 it will be a bad few games to get there.
May 6, 200917 yr Good win today, road split isn't bad. Ready to see improvement at home! They split in Florida, but they actually finished the road trip at 3-2.
