Nick Swisher and David Robertson(pretty solid pitcher who could be used out of the bullpen and in some spot starts) if New York doesn't want it, ship em to Baltimore for.. Melvin Mora and Adam Jones. Those could be two pretty solid trades that are actually reasonable.

May 7, 200917 yr The 3 World Series winners before that had Aaron Miles, Tadahito Iguchi and Mark Bellhorn as their primary second basemen.Yeah, the same Mark Bellhorn that Dusty benched because he didn't like his style of hitting and so that he could go with Lenny Harris at third base. And this a year after Bellhorn hit 27 homers with the Cubs and a year before he won a World Series with the Red Sox.
May 7, 200917 yr The Reds' offensive problem is as much of a lack of people on base as it is a shortage of power. Of course since they're hitting .237 with runners in scoring position I think maybe their problem is just hitting in general.

Those could be two pretty solid trades that are actually reasonable. Uhhhh, what? Those are far from reasonable. Jonny Gomes is not a "hot prospect." He's been around for a while & the Reds scooped him up because they're a small market team who has to make a living off of guys like Gomes, whom other teams have essentially given up on. Dickerson has little to no trade value. Edwin may have some value if he can produce when he gets back off the DL.
