April 22, 200917 yr We have a thread on UK's biggest bust, who do you think lived up to and exceeded their hype. To me it's Mashburn. I know he was highly rated coming out of school, but also supposedly had some issues like being lazy and some attitude problems. In my opinion and I've been watching UK since Louie Dampier he is the best to play at UK.

All 3 of those are great selections, particularly Mohammed. The guy was on the JV squad his freshman year. He ended up going pro a year early. I'd say he should be everybody's pick.
April 22, 200917 yr Two names that popped into my mind...Gerald Fitch and Chuck Hayes...can't remember how much "hype" each had...but turned out better than I first thought they would be in a UK uniform. They are two of my favorites...especially Hayes!!!
