April 23, 200917 yr Remember playing against him at Madison Central, and didn't think he would see much PT at UK. He is the one that has suprised me the most. I saw him play once as well and he was just big and slow. I was shocked at his transformation.

I got dunked on by him when I was a sophomore, in Memorial with Tubby, Tayshaun Prince, Padgett, and the rest of the team standing up on the rail watching. Had it been anywhere but Memorial, the goal would have broke!!!:notworthy: But he is actually playing overseas in Japan nowadays. Or he was from the last I heard!

April 23, 200917 yr Jeff Sheppard became a lot better than I ever thought he would be. The redshirt '96-'97 season did him wonders. I actually expected big things from him when Pitino described him coming in as someone that the UK fans would love because he 'shoots like Kyle and jumps like Rex'. MVP of the final 4 means to me that he delivered!!
April 23, 200917 yr I really think Meeks has turned out better than expected to be. I think a big part of that was that after he was on the freshman all american lists, being injured his sophomore season, many forgot about the potential he showed as a frosh. He really stepped up this past season and I expect better things from him this coming season.
