DragonFire
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/11636528 We all know why. It's because Brett Favre retired....
Cameraman
I'm going to miss his great insight... "Now, the object of the game is to score the most points. The team with the most points when the clock hits 0:00 in the 4th quarter is going to win."

KyTiger89
Say what you want about Madden, but the guy was the voice of football. There's only a few broadcasters that were the voices of the sport, Madden, and Vitale IMO for college basketball. Won't be the same without him
cardinalsvoice
I always loved Thanksgiving Day watching games with Madden doing the color talking about the "Turduckin" and how they made it...lol. Gonna miss Madden come this fall...
MJAlltheWay24
I know that there are hundreads of jokes about Madden, but like others have said he will be missed as the voice of football. How long do you think they will continue to make "Madden"?
rustyhurd
I will miss him alot. Collinsworth will replace him, it won't nearly be the same.

theguru
I like Collinsworth better than Madden. However, I think Collinsworth needs a partner that will keep him in check like Phil Simms does on Inside the NFL. In other words, I don't like to see Collinsworth get "too cute" when analyzing. He is ultra talented and should run his commentary straight down the middle because he excels there.
75center
I've always like Madden so I'm sorry to see him retire. Glad Cris is getting the opportunity.
