As usual, March will be their best month. No playoffs and no winning record. I'm hoping for a BIG season out of Cueto though.

82-80

10 games behind the Cubs in the Central

5 games out of the Wildcard

Johnny Cueto has a breakout year, much like Volquez's year last year.

78-84 fourth place. Cueto improves, Volquez is solid but not quite as good as last season, Harang and Arroyo are mediocre. OBP, defense and hitting with runners in scoring position keep them from contention.

Did I hack your account? That's about exactly what I was going to say except I was going to say at the end: I hope I'm wrong.

Lol. Even if it does end up that way I do think they are developing a good young core and moving in the right direction.

85-77. Wildcard winners. The pitching is very strong along with the defense. Votto carries the time offensively with a lot of timely hits, he will drive in well over 100.

83-79...just miss the playoffs but lookin very strong for '10.

I'm also a member of the "78 win prediction" club.

Not enough offense for this team to contend.

I'll say 83-79 and be in contention for the wildcard for most of the season

74 wins

I used to get so excited about the reds and opening day...I really was in love with the reds back in 99...Then a year later we get Junior and it as went south ever since...What kind of chance does this team have to win the Central?I guess you could call me a bandwagon reds fan...I mean I love them even if they are losing it's just hard to keep up with them the entire season when they can't even break 500...I want that excitement back in my life...From 97 to 03 I would make that two hour drive for at least two games and I know I would watch all the the games played on Fox sports Cn...I was a hardcore Reds fan and everyone who knew me Knew I loved the Reds...I miss those days...

So what I am getting at...Does Dusty Baker have a Reds team that will bring that magic back to Cincinnati?
