There gonna try to lure 5-6 coaches away from their current homes in the next few weeks, if they fail to get one they will ask someone who they know will say yes Ford (Gillispie 2 years ago).

Are you ready for the next mistake?

Has a coach ever said no in public and then turn around and accept a job before? Not Sure......

Where do people get these rumors from? I'm sick of "sources" saying these things. Many people claimed that Donovan was out of Florida and in at UK, including a Florida news station! I trust no one from here on out. Until I see a coach at a press conference being announced as UK's head coach, I will believe nothing.

Hey! You can't be eating popcorn at a time like this! Go find out who the next coach is going to be, so the world can begin to spin again. :jump:

Looks like Travis Ford is going to be the coach. :ohbrother::puke:

I hope not. Going from bad to worse, especially in ego and attitude.

It took you this long to make that decision?!

Its a good smilie but I think it needs to be rationed. Its the most overused smilie on the site.

Not really. I pick and choose which rumors I believe based on how credible I think the poster is.

I'm simply saying that I'm tired of people posting that they know from "sources" certain things. I'm certainly glad I do not pay for those insider websites who have been touting Billy D as UK's next coach.

Quick!

Someone call Rick Pitino!

maybe we can catch him in a moment of weakness!

(On a side note, I would say BD is never going to be an option here again. JMO.)

Are you ready for the next mistake?

I guess.....:puke:

Folks, I am going on record that Dave Baker is wrong and Billy Donovan will, indeed, be the new head coach. Of course, you all know how one can be left at the alter and nothing is 100%, but my source is closer than Baker, you might say a negotiator. I will stop right there, have a great weekend.

I meant no harm and I understand your point. Bottom line, nobody knows anything until the final press conference is held.
