It's funny how one game changes so much on here...

Well everyone has seen what playing a game in the first round of a conference tourney does for you, (West Virginia vs PITT). I think since the cats played today, they will play loose and win this one by 8.

I am going to go with the CATS in this one, thinking that they are finally realizing they are in a must win situation (because obviously they didn't realize last week). I think they look a little sluggish at first because of fatigue but pick it up and squeak out a 3 point win.

Joe L and Hubert Davis.

For what it's worth, LSU is only a 1pt favor. That seems odd to me, LSU is SEC champ, and are only favored by 1 against an 8-8 (in conference) team.

I don't think this win alone puts UK in the tourney:

RPI-79

SOS-63

conf. record-8-8

4-8 in their last 12

Both the RPI, SOS, and last twelve games will all change with a win in this game. Plus, isn't that the SOS and RPI before the Ole Miss game?

Yes they can all change, but not dramatically. UK has to win the SEC championship to get in, IMHO. The best you are looking at, not winning the SEC, is a .500 record (last 12) down the stretch in a conference that is not getting alot of respect. That won't be enough.

Beating a 16-14 Ole Miss squad is pretty much meaningless at this point, and won't help an RPI or SOS.

If LSU beats the Cats at Rupp a week ago, then they win again on Friday by 10 or more. I do hope I'm wrong bigtime...Can't stand LSU in anything.

Joe L and Hubert Davis.

That is who I heard it from too.

Lunardi said that a win over LSU gets UK in? That's odd, he doesn't have them in the first four out, or next four out. That would mean they are jumping at least 8 teams.

They are also not mentioned on this bubble talk link
