March 11, 200917 yr K was class after the 1992 game and i'll never forget that. I HATED what happened to the Unforgettables, but I don't hate Duke. I think they have quality STUDENT-ATHLETES and they are a fine institution. I mean, name me a small, private institution in the US that isn't "elitist"? Then throw in a championship caliber basketball team...of course they are cocky. They either make millions in the NBA, the Business world, or Politics. I do however hate UNC. Go Cats!
March 11, 200917 yr One of the best basketball programs in the nation. Great coach, winning tradition, players graduate and the student section is the best. How could anyone hate them?
March 11, 200917 yr I hate Duke. Just like I hate the Yankees. The media slurps over them constantly and it is unreal the amount of coverage they get for how over-rated they are every other year.
March 11, 200917 yr It's pretty easy really. Some years I find teams that I really like to watch play. But I don't ever really wish them to have much success. And I don't really hate other programs...it is as simple as not caring. Ex: Texas during Durant. I loved to watch them play, I know a lot of their fans, and they annoyed me...so I didn't really want them to be good. And if they did good...what reward as a fan do I get out of that. Because ultimately I'd rather see UK there. Maybe it just boils down that there isn't enough room for another team. Or take the NFL for example...I doubt Jim Schue is actively rooting for other teams besides the Steelers or HB is rooting for any team besides the Giants. Why can't I do the same in College Sports? But I'm not incapable of rooting for other teams. In MLB I LOVE the Florida Marlins, but since they play in the NL and almost exclusively play other NL teams I also actively root for the Yankees too. I just don't see another college that is worth it. P.S. I was prepared to give U of L a chance when I moved here...but the fans ruined that quick. Next time I see you, I'm going to ask Simba to remove the knife from my back.:cry:
March 11, 200917 yr Don't necessarily hate dUKe but DO NOT like the way they are coddled on the court. When you play dUKe, you don't get the calls that they get for whatever reason.:taz:

March 11, 200917 yr I don't hate Duke. I dislike them because they win a ton of games every year. I dislike NC, USC (football) and the Patriots(NFL) for the same reason.
March 11, 200917 yr I don't like em, mainly because ESPN has a major love fest with them. It's sickening to watch them play on TV, it's sickening however overrated they are, they will remain in the top 10 and I hate them because of JJ Redick's piece on College Gameday a few years back crying about how people call his phone and cuss him, threaten him etc. Change your Cell Phone # and don't give it out to people you don't really know JJ! Problem solved
March 11, 200917 yr I do I do!!!:thumb: Spent some time with their fans a couple of times at the NCAA tourney in St. Pete. I would list that hated player's name, but I will refrain.
