Close game (2 point game until about 1:24 left, and Boone hit their free throws at the end. Could have went either way, but Boone will take the win any way they can get it! Brown hit 4 FTs in the last minute, and McFarland hit another two. I'd say McFarland played the best for Boone today, followed by Brown. McFarland's interior passing is excellent, and he sets his teammates up for s many bunnies!

Holmes might be a better shot from the outside, not sure about the rebounding, but besides that Boone County should be better at everything else. Boone County by 9 pts.

I agree. Brown seemed to be "in the right place, at the right time" many, many times.

McFarland made several nice assists. Not taking anything away from Brown. He played well. He was scrappy around the basket and had a good nose for the ball. I disagree that McFarland had a bad game. He started slow but really turned it on in the second half.

You are right. Maybe "down the stretch" wasn't enough credit.

I was just at the Bank of Kentucky center and saw Holmes and Boone Co both play. Put it this way if Holmes can keep Boone from getting inside the paint with Mcfarland and force Boone to go outside with the ball the will win because Boone doesnt really shoot all that well. But I think Pittman will match great against Earls or Mcfarland. But Holmes can turn the d on when ever they want.I think it will be a great game but Holmes is out for BLOOD..Holmes by 8 to much talent. Go DAWGS.

I think Holmes has to get up and down the floor, run Boone as much as possible. If I recall correctly Andy Earls was guarding Pittman in the first game a lot. Before Elijah got hurt, Earls in the post was keeping Pittman on the outside. This hurt Holmes in my opinion.

The bolded is a huge comment. Not sure exactley how many minutes Pittman played in the game, but it wasn't alot. He's the reason I say this one will be different.
