Personally I expected more out of Pittman due to Beechwoods lack of size. They do have a big kid named Smith down low, but he is not nearly as athletic as Pittman. I thought Pittman could have done better, but this is a team game not an individual one. Great win for Holmes.

Pittman had a really good 2nd half, and I thought competed well the entire game. The O wasn't running through him early, but once he got it going did a nice job helping the Dogs pull away.

 

Trying to run with Holmes simply doesn't work because of the length and athleticism problems they cause on the defensive end. You have to be near perfect if that's the plan of attack and Beechwood wasn't tonight...

While your point about trying to run with the Dogs is valid, its what BW does. They win with running and they'll lose with running but they're going to try to run.

If I'm correct that the 36th plays on Saturday, I'm pretty sure its Sunday morning.

I think Pittman will be fine. While I agree that Smith is not really that much of a threat down low and Pittman could have probably had his way, I think he contributed in a solid way and hopefully will continue in that way.

Is Pittman's wrist causing him any problems? It seems to be taped pretty heavily in the photos.
