Harrison County will play the winner of Nicholas County and Deming. The Breds beat Nicholas in Cynthiana on February 6, 71-32. The beat Deming on New Year's Day at Mason County, 74-61. They definitely will be the favorite.

Tough year for PC. Mason Monroe got some great experience and should provide some nice leadership next year as a Frosh.

Mason had a nice game tonight. Went 4-6 from the field for nine points, and I only remember one turnover while running the show throughout the game. I would have liked to see him be a little more aggressive offensively and get his shot count up to at least 10. But, if you didn't know he was an 8th grader, you would have never guessed while watching him play. He played like a veteran. My favorite part was when one of the Harrison kids barked in his ear after Mason's first turnover, he barked right back when the time was right a second later. I am obviously not condoning either kid trash talking, it was great to see that the 8th grader wouldn't back down.

I really like his game. He shows no emotion and never seems to get rattled. Pendleton will be extremly tough the next 4 years with him at the point. Keep your heads up Wildcats. You'll probably draw Harrison again for the next 5 years!! Like the past 5 years! Harrison finally won one of the first round games!
