The Gators are from Louisville, they used to be the Highview Heat. They played as the Gators last season. They have played together about 4 years. They may have a pickup player from Etown but almost all of them are from Louisville. They should have a very nice team, I haven't seen them yet this season.

 

This was the Gators first Tournament. They have only had 2 practices. Most of the the players are from Louisville and they just finished up their middle school season. One is from Radcliff and three are from Bardstown. Bardstown's Jordan Hickmans younger brother Jarrett plays on the team. They finished 7th in last years D-2 nationals at the KBA. This year they have plans of going to D-1. They have a big rivalry with the Legends but the Legends always seem to get the best of them.

NKY Wolfpack are planning to play.

14U Wolfpack have played very well this year with some injuries and player changes from the team that finished runner-up in D2 State last year. They won the first session league and tourney at Mt Zion. They are well coached and a tough out in any tourney they are in.

Hurricanes will be back with an addition or 2 and a subtraction or 2, but for the most part, same crew with at least one upgrade. But you never know until they toss it up. One thing I've learned about 14yo kids,,,,,,,they're still 14yo kids.:ohbrother:

 

Really looking forward to that season arriving. Schedule is coming into shape as well. Good luck to all the KY teams, some really fun basketball to watch around the Commonwealth.

At Mid America last weekend I watched the U14 Rising Stars play the Ville in the Championship. The Ville won by 10 pts. Synder had a nice game for the Ville.

I heard the Wolfpack U12 (Moeves) will be playing DC Nuggets(U13, I believe) on Saturday at the BCI. Should be a good game to watch.

 

The U12 Wolfpack have played (last year) and scrimmaged (this year) the U13 Wolfpack. It's usually a 20 point difference, but they get the advantage of being "beat" on by the stronger and older squad. I expect the U12 Wolfpack to win by at least 5, maybe 10 points.
