I noticed on Hoops website that The Legends play the Wolfpack on Saturday. Is this the Wolfpack coached by Moeves?

No. It's probably the team coached by Daughtery. I believe Moeves is playing 2 games on Saturday at Sportsville in Florence.

Does anyone know anything about the OC Colonels or Team 08 (5th grade teams playing at Hoops this weekend)? Thanks

Omega has already played the Oldham Co. Colonels and beat them by 12 I believe..

I heard the Wolfpack U12 (Moeves) will be playing DC Nuggets(U13, I believe) on Saturday at the BCI. Should be a good game to watch.

The U12 Wolfpack have played (last year) and scrimmaged (this year) the U13 Wolfpack. It's usually a 20 point difference, but they get the advantage of being "beat" on by the stronger and older squad. I expect the U12 Wolfpack to win by at least 5, maybe 10 points.

Go Pack!

Who are the bigs for the U12 Wolfpack? The Nuggets have some horses I know and if Hoge plays with them they will be very tough. Should be a great game either way.

They have 3 bigs Stanley (Ockerman), Niehaus (Turkeyfoot) and Martin (Twenhofel). Stanley's probably the best 6th grade big in the state. Niehaus is good if he stays out of foul trouble. Should be a competitive game.

When did he start playing with the Wolfpack???

Hoge is playing with a team called the Nuggets but I don't think it's the DC Nuggets. I thought DC was Derby City out of Lville.

I believe Omega Flight played them earlier in the year and beat them in one of the BCI's. If my contacts are correct, this was before Hoge joined the Omega team.

Wolfpack should handle DC Nuggets as long as Stanley stays out of foul trouble. Without Stanley, Wolfpack is an average team at best. Stanley is the real deal and is no doubt one of the best in the state. Just curious, does anyone know if he is an age exception?

Stanley is very good but he plays with the 2 best guards in N. KY....Moeves and Robinson. The 3 players that make that team go are Stanley, Moeves and Robinson.

Omega can't handle Stanley nor the full court pressure....guards cough it up too much.

Stanley is an exemption by 1 day (8/30/96). Came from Indiana were the June/July/Oct birth days wait another year.

The Nuggets you are talking about is a Ft.Thomas ( Highlands) AAU Team....

If all the players are from HHS....it's a very good school AAU team!

I agree Omega can't handle Stanley, however you are reaching with Moeves.....

So the answer is Yes.

Not too shabby, this group is getting better and better. They have really played well at the 7th grade level in school ball.
