I realize this, was just posting for comparison and the most relevant stats that I could see.

How so?

2008 AA team

DJ Augustine

Chris Douglas-Roberts

Tyler Hansbrough

Michael Beasley

Kevin Love

2007 AA team

Arron Afflalo

Acie Law

Alando Tucker

Kevin Durant

Tyler Hansbrough

Position has everything to do with the AA team. You will never see 5 guards or five big men on the AA team. The AA team has balance and is a reasonable line-up for actual game needs. Show me a AA lineup that hasn't been.

Both of your teams listed prove my point. Thanks.

The 2007 team did not have a C, the 2008 team didn't have a SF. The positions don't matter.

Here's the thing.....I feel that Calathes is the front runner for POY in the SEC, after yesterday's performance, I feel he still maintains that hold.

What do you think about Meeks' performance yesterday?

I'm sure Meeks would like his chances if Calathes shoots 36% from the floor, 33% from three and 57% from the FT line from here on out.

He's played better in the last 5 than Meeks, which one designates a trend.

Including yesterday?

What do you think about Meeks' performance yesterday?

Of course it was a great performance. That doesn't really erase his struggles against stout competition, or change my respect for his game. I have said time and time on here that he and Padge are my favorite Wildcats of all time, at this point I think that Calathes is a better player in the SEC, and should win POY.

I feel they played rather comparable yesterday.

:ohbrother: Just let it go guys.

I think its nothing short of amazing what hes done. When teams box and 1 you a lot and are focus of every team's defense to do what he does and still shoot the % he does is impressive. And at this point he should be a 1st team All American.

My point is that your wrong when you say it's the five best players in America regardless of position. Every AA team has had balance and is a reasonable line up. You will sometimes see 3 guards or 3 big men but that is reasonable you will never see 5 guards (PG or SG) or 5 big men (PF SF F or C)...

Maybe that's because you rarely see a year when the best 5 players are all the same position. I'm not wrong, the positions don't matter. Show me something concrete that says they matter.

HE HAD A TRIPLE DOUBLE, until today, they took one away......he contributed directly to 40+ points, they are comparable games at worst.
