February 6, 200917 yr Our thoughts are with you and your daughter. My dd had surgery twice (18 mnths and 4 years old) putting tubes in her ears and the not eating part was HORRIBLE. I can't believe they didn't schedule her earlier in the day! As others have said . . . it will probably be harder on you than it will be on her. SHE won't remember it several years from now but you will never forget! I'm sorry she has to go through this but being a parent is sometimes about making the hard choices for your child. Keep us posted!
February 6, 200917 yr Author Thanks everyone. She is up and begging for food. She can only have drinks and jello for 15 more minutes. She says she wants oatmeal and toast. Poor little girl. I will be on here later. Thanks again.

February 6, 200917 yr Prayers are here.....On a bright note, PH had this done when he was about her age. He said that as far as he can remember, it really was no big deal afterward....hopefully, it will be that way for your little girl.
February 6, 200917 yr Author Hello! We are home and resting now. She did wonderful. She was the star of the show, she had everyone cracking up. She doesn't meet a stranger. She never shed a tear and was very cooperative. They procedure was very fast. They hardest part was seeing them put her to sleep. They had me hold her while they gave her the gas and it broke my heart. Other than that she woke up happy and had a Popsicle and got to drive a race car to the car lol. She was a happy camper. They said she would heal fast and should be fine by tomorrow. Thanks for all your prayers.
