February 6, 200917 yr Hello! We are home and resting now. She did wonderful. She was the star of the show, she had everyone cracking up. She doesn't meet a stranger. She never shed a tear and was very cooperative. They procedure was very fast. They hardest part was seeing them put her to sleep. They had me hold her while they gave her the gas and it broke my heart. Other than that she woke up happy and had a Popsicle and got to drive a race car to the car lol. She was a happy camper. They said she would heal fast and should be fine by tomorrow. Thanks for all your prayers. See . . . it wasn't so bad!! Momma Bears just can't help but protect her cubs and keep them away from any perceived danger!! Glad she came through with flying colors!!! The only thing she'll probably remember about the whole incident is driving that car!!! :thumb:

February 7, 200917 yr Author Thank you so much all of you for the kind words. She is precious I have to agree. She is doing well so far. Eating yogurt, jello, and oatmeal is the extent today. Tomorrow we will venture on to more exciting food. I don't think the pain is that bad but I dosed her with some Tylenol before bed just in case. I will update on the night. I think once we get through tonight and tomorrow, that we will be in the clear. Stopping a 2 year is near to impossible so I have to take the little stairs into space as she is tired or she would never stop lol.
February 7, 200917 yr Author Glad to hear everything went well Mrs. FF. I know her pain when they won't let you eat ha. Yes that was a very hard task for a 2 year old. The nice thing they do in the waiting room of same day surgery though, is ban food and drinks. There are so many kids that have to fast for their surgery so keeping it out of sight helps. She was all about her Popsicle after it was over. I think anesthesia has a way of suppressing your appetite b/c she hasen't had much at all but she's not complaining.
February 7, 200917 yr She's GORGEOUS!!! In a few years this will be the smallest pain either of you will be able to imagine . . . I'd bet that Mr. FairFan will be feelin all the pain beating all the boys off your doorstep!!!:taz:
